Happy first birthday to OK! Beauty Box! A look back at our celeb collaborators and top products
Time flies when you’re getting carefully curated beauty treats to your door each month! We can hardly believe it but our OK! Beauty Box turns one today – and wow has it been one action-packed year of celeb collaborations and trending product selections from our OK! beauty editors.
To celebrate the milestone, we’re taking a dive back through some of our famous faces – like Jodie Kidd and Billie Shepherd – who have fronted boxes. We’re also taking a look back at some of our makeup, skincare and bodycare delights that could be found in their edits.
To celebrate OK! Beauty Box turning one, we’re also giving away a 12-month OK! Beauty Box subscription to one lucky winner! The Billie Shepherd Edit
Our first ever celeb box saw us team up with Mummy Diaries and former TOWIE star Billie Shepherd. The mum-of-three proved her star quality on the set of our glitzy OK! VIP cover shoot, where she debuted a few looks that could be created from the products in her box.
Stand-out items from her selection were the Color Wow Style On Steroids Colour-Safe Texturising Spray, which she said “really helps with texture and keeping it styled,” and the lash-boosting (and very luxe) Eyeko Black Magic Mascara.
The Jess Plummer Edit
After seeing how fantastic Jess looked on I’m A Celebrity without a scrap of make-up, we all wanted to steal her beauty secrets. Our prayers were met when she collaborated with us on her very own Beauty Edit.
The actress handpicked favourites worth over £50 for her box. It contained six fantastic beauty goodies, including Eyeko’s Black Magic liner – the very product used on our shoot to create her sexy feline flick.
The Katie Piper Edit
Despite juggling a busy workload, running her own charity and looking after two kids, Katie Piper always looks fabulous, and we all got the chance to get our hands on the presenter’s beauty must-haves in June this year.
Since Katie is known for her bright smile, she made sure to include an Oral Spotlight Care Toothpaste for Whitening Teeth in her edit. She also gave subscribers a Benefit 24-Hour Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel – her favourite styling gel.
The Jodie Kidd Edit
Ever wondered what a supermodel uses to look so polished? We asked Jodie ourselves when she kindly put together her beauty favourites for our September edit.
Her carefully-curated box featured RevitaLash’s cult Advanced Eyelash Conditioner (loved by our own OK! beauty editor!), a smudge-proof mascara and glow-boosting skin serum from London Botanical Laboratories worth over £55.
We can’t wait to see where the next 12 months will take us!
