If you’re prone to pesky pigmentation flare-ups as soon as the sun comes out, a good vitamin C serum should be an essential in your skincare routine. This one combines the powerful antioxidant with glycerin and almond oil to leave skin looking hydrated, radiant and more even in tone.
How do I build a vitamin C oil-serum into my skincare routine?
- Apply 2-3 drops to cleansed skin, post toner or acid if you use one
- Suitable to use AM and PM
- Say hello to radiant skin!
The benefit? This lightweight facial oil absorbs quickly to instantly replenish and nourish your complexion, helping to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and restoring a youthful-looking glow without appearing greasy.
Paul Yacomine Solarium Sun, Sea and Chlorine Protection for Hair. Full size, worth £28
You may have got your skin sun protection sorted, but it’s just as important to protect your hair from UV rays too, which can dry out strands and cause colour to fade. This blend of oils protects hair from sun damage while also deeply conditioning (it smells incredible, too!).
Why does my hair need protection from the sun?
UV rays can damage hair just like the skin, potentially even damaging the hair follicle. Spray 5-10 drops of the Paul Yacomine Solarium at arms length on dry or damp hair, using as much as you need to ensure there is a light coating. The spray will also add shine, moisture and texture to hair.
The benefit? A very light and non-tacky texture that enhances 'shine' through organic natural oils. Helps in reducing colour fade and dehydration and provides a soft, natural definition to curls and waves. Free from parabens, phthalates, mineral oils or artificial fragrance.
PURE by Mudmasky Saved by the Scrub for Underarms. Full size, worth £20
The product you never knew you needed, but once you try it it’ll quickly become a summer essential! This unique scrub/mask hybrid is specially designed to cleanse and exfoliate the underarm area, while kaolin clay and coffee powder helps to remove odour-causing bacteria.
How do I use an underarm scrub?
Step 1: Wash your armpits with lukewarm water
Step 2: Apply a small amount of the scrub on your armpits
Step 3: Use a circular motion to scrub your armpits
Step 4: Maintain gentle pressure while scrubbing
Step 5: Gently rinse with lukewarm water
The benefit? Reduces dark appearance, removes dead skin cells, reduces pesky bumps, is deeply cleansing (thanks to the clay) and helps to remove odor-causing bacteria.
Grace & Stella Rose Spray. Travel size, worth £5
This fragrant face mist is perfect for giving skin an extra layer of moisture, whether used as part of your AM and PM skincare routines or spritzed on throughout the day. It’s ideal for spraying during flights, too, when the air conditioning can seriously dehydrate the skin.
Why is rose water taking the beauty world by storm?
Jam-packed with powerful antioxidants, whilst also delivering anti-inflammatory properties, rose water helps to reduce redness and balance the skin’s pH - plus it smells incredible leaving an oh-so-relaxing aroma.
The benefit? Helps to strengthen (and balance) your skin by increasing elasticity and hydration that we lose as we age.
Magnitone WipeOut Swipes. Pack of two, worth £8
Now there’s no need for heavy bottles of makeup remover and endless disposable cotton pads – instead just pack these eco-friendly cleansing rounds. They’re made from a super-soft, machine-washable microfibre material and cleverly remove all traces of makeup with just warm water.
The benefit? Re-useable thousands of times, machine washable and fast drying which means you're helping to save the planet.
